Project Run& Play Wk. 3: Mad For Plaid

Hey guys!
I'm going to make this a quick one as I'm on vacation and enjoying all of the California goodness while catching up on PR&P news.

I finished my Mad For Plaid look before the Wk.2 Candy challenge for good reason, I really enjoy myself a good plaid.

For this outfit I chose to create a Recess Raglan and Coastal Cargos. For the Raglan I used a couple of t-shirts that had been shrunk in the wash (not by me, I'm a laundry queen). Then I coordinated the Cargos to have plaid tabs that matched the vest.

This was a pretty awesome vest that I created using two different plaids. I used the Reversible Vest Pattern from Little Lizard Kings and didn't add any buttons. I wanted it to be a casual vest& felt that keeping it this way was the way to go. This pattern was quick, easy, & gratifying. I'd totally recommend it!

I just love the complete look and it fit so nicely on my son.
&boy did I time this right with our quickly approaching fall weather. See all the leaves on the ground?
Yikes!
