It's GO time

YIKES

This time of year is so crazy for my family. The Iowa State Fair starts today & while it doesn't seem to be a game changer, it is when your hubby works at the fairgrounds. His work schedule gets insane during this time- working 7 days a week& for the last two days he's worked 13 hours + each day. Ick for him& lots to do for me. I'm trying to keep him fed, the kids& house in order, & we have events up the wazooo that I'll be attending for the rest of August.

Well, that was my rant, er kind of. Point being, is that I have been creating quite a few cards for all these lovely occasions. Yesterday I received a new package from Simon Says Stamp
I purchased a few new paper packs, the SSS July Card Kit, Lawn Fawn Stamp Set, Brads, MFT Doily Pack... oh the happy dance i did when i got it. :)

I started by grabbing my watercolor crayons& a leftover plastic piece & small paint brush.
I colored on the plastic then used my mini mister to get it wet. With my small paint brush I painted in the AWESOME stamp set I picked up by Lawn Fawn. These little carnival rides& saying are so fun.

I've had the crayons for a long time, not sure where from.

This is a wedding card created for some super fun friends. They are have a costume party reception at the end of the month. I think dad&i are going to be Peter Pan & Wendy. I favor a nighty to a leotard lol therefore no Tinkerbell for me.

Inside I placed two of the little tickets, one for each of them.

This one is similar but its for my father in laws birthday. He works with my husband & his birthday is ALWAYS during the fair. Not a great time to celebrate, so i thought it was a cute way to play on his bad timing.

this is a stamp from the Sweet November collection that i love.
I made a wedding shower card using Echo Park papers.

Lastly I created a 32nd wedding anniversary card for my in laws. Wow, 32 years. They are truly my inspiration for a great marriage. I used the July card kit from Simon Says Stamp. This Washi Tape is super fun& useful, the patterned papers are gorgeous, and the inspiration pieces were gorgeous. This wasn't one of the suggested cards to make, but i love it all the same.

Finally I had to end with baby goodness. He was helping me photograph the lot of them. I love how he crosses his hands like a little gentleman& waits so patiently for me to finish.

Have a lovely day!
